I’ll never forget my daughter’s last birthday. We had tickets to see Penn & Teller at the casino’s theater in our city. I picked my kids up from school, we went met some friends for a buffet-style dinner at the casino, and we rushed into the crowd that was lining up to see the show. We’re huge fans, and we love their television show, Fool Us, so most of the show was familiar to us. Regardless, we had an amazing time. After the show, both Penn and Teller ran to the back of the theater and stood there to meet with everyone who was willing to brave the lines. My daughter rushed up and took a “selfie” with him, and I mentioned it was her birthday. “May I sign something for you?” he asked, and I held out her ticket to the show. Such a gracious performer and nice guy. It was an unforgettable evening.
